Ophthalmologist and Retina Specialist

Dr. Harris Ahmed is an Ivy League–trained vitreoretinal surgeon at Weill Cornell, specializing in the diagnosis and surgical management of complex retinal diseases. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Loma Linda University and has a strong background in public health and health policy. 

Dr. Ahmed is a national leader in physician advocacy, holding roles with organizations such as the AMA, AOA, and AOCOOHNS, with a focus on improving healthcare access, physician workforce distribution, and medical education. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has served on the Board of Trustees for the California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
