At the XXXV Meeting of Club Jules Gonin in Lugano, Switzerland, he presented landmark five-year outcomes data for pegcetacoplan treatment in geographic atrophy secondary to AMD, one of the longest-duration datasets available for this therapy. He also presented earlier that month at the 12th Combined Annual Meeting of the Pacific Retina Club at UCLA, sharing retrospective claims data on corticosteroid utilization in anti-VEGF-treated diabetic macular edema from 2018 to 2023.
In March 2026, Dr. Chan was appointed to the Editorial Board of RETINA: The Journal of Retinal and Vitreous Diseases, one of the most prestigious peer-reviewed publications in the field.
